Clinical Services Disclaimer

Unbound is a preventative service and not a replacement for primary care. While our advice is doctor-led, our in-person assessments are focused on wellbeing rather than medical diagnosis.

Any clinical interpretation or health recommendations you receive via Unbound are prepared by independent, CQC-regulated healthcare professionals and UKAS accredited diagnostic labs.

Unbound is not considered a medical device; the digital platforms (web, mobile) are to provide health and lifestyle advice and are wellness support tools only.

Unbound should not be used to seek medical advice. Anyone experiencing new or unexplained symptoms should see their GP first for diagnosis, treatment and medical clearance before undertaking an Unbound Health Assessment. If you have concerns about your health, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Unbound cannot provide urgent medical advice or care; you must not use our services to seek advice regarding urgent clinical matters or symptoms, or disclose health information via inappropriate channels, such as our Customer Support function.

In the event of a medical emergency, go to your nearest A&E or call 999 and ask for an ambulance immediately.

You agree and acknowledge that the Results and Analysis you receive in your Report may contain information and data that you did not anticipate. This includes information that may indicate that you have a higher propensity to develop or contract certain diseases and conditions. You should carefully consider what impact such knowledge may have on your health and wellbeing.

You acknowledge that healthspan and longevity research is not comprehensive and that many factors may influence the contracting or development of diseases and conditions. Furthermore, you acknowledge and accept that further testing may be required in the future as scientific research advances.

You are responsible for discussing any medical advice given to you during our provision of the Service, with any other medical practitioners or healthcare professionals who may be involved in your care separately from your Contract with Unbound.

03

How Our Services Operate

Unbound is a health and wellness membership offering clinical testing, health assessments and health advice. Unbound memberships are annual subscriptions that include:

  • A health assessment (blood test) at onboarding.
  • One year of access to the Unbound digital platform.
  • Potential access to exclusive events, promotions, and partner offers.

Memberships are set to auto-renew every 12 months unless cancelled in advance.

Your Contract with us will begin on the date on which you create an Unbound account. We will commence providing the Services following receipt in full of your first payment (the Commencement Date).

Following the Commencement Date, our Services will be provided to you as described in these Terms and Conditions.

You must keep us informed of any changes to the contact details we hold for you so that we can contact you if necessary about the Services we have agreed to provide to you. Failure to provide such information may result in us being unable to provide the Services, as a result of which we may terminate our Contract.

Unbound engages Third Party Service Providers (e.g. CQC-regulated healthcare services and UKAS accredited diagnostic laboratories) to provide certain services including blood analysis and reporting.

Unbound delivers its health insight services via a secure, cloud-based platform and app, making personalised wellness insights accessible to users across the UK. Our registered office serves as the operational hub for governance, compliance, and service oversight.

The Unbound Health Assessment

Members have access to an annual health and fitness testing service, which includes:

  • Anthropometric and clinical measurements: blood pressure, height, weight and waist measurements taken at Unbound Testing Locations (26 Drysdale Street, N1 8LS).
  • Phlebotomy at an Unbound Testing Location for targeted blood panels. The blood panel includes: cardiometabolic biomarker analysis (e.g., cholesterol, glucose, HbA1c), organ profiles (e.g. liver function, kidney function), and nutritional and micronutrient profiles (e.g. Vitamin D, magnesium, iron studies).
  • You acknowledge that it may not be possible to process your Sample in certain circumstances (e.g. if it has degraded or an insufficient volume is provided).
  • Physiologic measurements (e.g. ForceDecks single leg stand test, countermovement jump test, isometric mid thigh pull test, 6-minute jogging predicted VO2 max test, VO2 max test).
  • Pre-test screening for contraindications and a day of test safety checks (HR, BP) are mandatory for all physical assessments to mitigate risks of adverse events such as cardiovascular events or musculoskeletal injuries.

The Unbound Health Report

For each assessment, members will receive a personalised Health Report prepared by a regulated third-party physician. To provide your in-depth health report, we have partnered with Tuli, a CQC-regulated healthcare provider. Here is a simple breakdown of the process:

  • Start with Context: The Unbound Health Assessment begins with a series of questionnaires. This gives our health team the essential context needed to interpret your results meaningfully.
  • Visit Us in Shoreditch: A Health & Wellbeing specialist will guide you through your in-person tests. This includes a blood test and functional challenges that assess your balance, heart health, strength, and power.
  • Secure Data Transfer: Your questionnaire results, blood test results, and in-person measurements are all securely shared with our clinical partner, Tuli.
  • Expert Analysis: Doctors within Tuli's CQC-regulated clinical team will analyse and integrate all your results to create your comprehensive, holistic Health Report.
  • View Your Report: Tuli sends the finalised, doctor-written report back to us. You will then be able to read and access your report directly through the Unbound platform.

Analysis of your deep dive lifestyle medicine questionnaire, psychometric tests, background and medical history information, wearable data, clinical questionnaire results, clinical tests results, blood biomarker results conducted by a third-party laboratory partner (Tuli), and wearable data, by a regulated third-party physician.

Where clinically appropriate, members are supported by GMC-registered physicians or allied health and wellbeing professionals (e.g. exercise physiologists) with tailored treatment and lifestyle plans.

The Unbound App guides users through a process of creating and customising a personalised health behaviour plan based on the recommendations in their health report. The app holds the members digital health profile, facilitates reflection, prioritisation and goal setting, as well as behavioural tracking and community support.

  • A personalised wellness plan: with actionable insights to help guide your wellness behaviour.
  • Digital Wellness Tracking: Collection and integration of lifestyle data from wearables, self-assessments, and external test results. Tools for users and clinicians to track progress, adjust plans, and promote sustainable lifestyle changes.
  • Behaviour change support: the Unbound app gives members support when and how they need it, backed by the latest behavioural and lifestyle science. Members choose which domains they focus on for their customisable 90-day plan: Medical, Sleep, Fuel, Movement, Strength, Supplements, Toxins, Wellbeing, Connection, Inspiration.
  • Community support and curated content.

You may elect to integrate data from third-party devices, monitoring platforms or services which are designed to capture and record various health data (e.g. wearables). Using Wearables will require you to use various applications (apps) and other software from the Wearables' manufacturers.

Some elements of the Services, such as some tests or procedures, may not be appropriate or possible for medical reasons. You may also decline a test or procedure. In either case, the test or procedure in question will not be carried out and alternatives may be offered if applicable.

04

Changes to the Service

We may modify or remove features of the platform at any time without prior notice.

As science and technology evolves, the Services we offer may change from time to time. We may make minor adjustments and changes to the Services without further notice to you. We will provide you with written notice if we plan to remove, add, substitute, or otherwise substantively change any of our Services.

The Services are offered as a fully integrated health programme tailored to you. Once we have commenced provision of the Services, we are unable to offer any refund of the fees paid under your Contract.

We reserve the right to change laboratory partners as needed. We aim to offer replacement blood tests should there be a problem with processing or reporting on your sample which could affect the overall interpretation of your biomarkers.

05

Eligibility and Acceptance of Terms

By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

It is your responsibility to inform Unbound of any change in status which may affect your eligibility by emailing support@unbound.living so that your membership can be paused or cancelled.

You may not use our Services and may not accept these Terms and Conditions if you are not over 18 years of age.

You must be registered with a GP or Primary Care Physician before you attend the Unbound Health Assessment. Having a registered GP ensures that if our assessment uncovers any clinically significant biomarkers, we can securely coordinate your follow-up care and provide your doctor with the necessary information to manage your ongoing medical needs.

  • You are currently pregnant or have given birth within the last 6 months.
  • You have experienced a medical event or surgery within the last 6 months. For example a medical event affecting your heart, lungs, brain, or blood vessels e.g. a heart attack, stroke, pulmonary embolism or major surgery.
  • You have an ‘active’ health condition. This means the condition affects you more than once per week, or is not yet regularly within your treatment goals. Active health conditions include, but are not limited to:
    • Cancer (undergoing treatment).
    • Heart conditions: such as undiagnosed chest pain, unstable angina, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias (irregular heartbeat), aortic stenosis, myocarditis, pericarditis, endocarditis.
    • Known aneurysm.
    • Uncontrolled blood pressure: consistently over 160 mmHg (top number) or 100 mmHg (bottom number).

    • Metabolic conditions: such as uncontrolled diabetes (e.g., recent ketosis or consistently very high/low blood sugar).
    • Severe mental health symptoms. This includes current thoughts of suicide, current self-harm, active eating disorders, current uncontrolled use of substances or alcohol, and severe depression.
06

Payments

Fees payable to Unbound for our Services will be notified to you in writing. The fees may change from time to time, but any changes will not apply until the end of the current Term and will be notified to you in advance.

Prices may change over time. We will notify you of any price changes at least 30 days before renewal, giving you the option to cancel before renewal.

Membership tiers, inclusions, and promotional offers may evolve over time.

Invitation codes, promo codes and discounts, if offered, are non-transferable, non-refundable, and hold no cash value.

Late Payment: We will suspend the provision of Services in the event of late payment, and may terminate the Contract if the payment(s) remains overdue. Please note that no Investigations will be carried out until any payment due has been received.

Payment providers: Payments for memberships are processed by Stripe and other third-party payment providers we may enable (e.g. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, PayPal).

We do not store or process card details ourselves. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is fully PCI-DSS compliant.

Stripe may set essential cookies for fraud prevention and payment security.

By providing payment details, you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your chosen method of payment in accordance with these Terms.

07

Term and Termination

Your Contract shall continue for the Term applicable to you and terminate at the end of that period.

These Terms and Conditions will continue to apply until terminated in accordance with this section.

If your Contract is for an annual membership, your Contract will renew automatically at the end of each Term for a further one year Term.

We will issue an invoice for payment for each additional Term at the commencement of that year. Your contract will not renew unless we receive payment of that invoice.

Unbound may in its sole discretion issue new Terms and Conditions for you to agree in order to receive further Services.

You may give notice terminating the Contract with us at any time by sending us an email to support@unbound.living and at the end of the current Term (the Termination Date).

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the service in an unlawful or abusive manner, including a failure to make payment of our invoices when required, or if we are required to do so by law.

It may be necessary for Unbound to terminate some of the Services we provide to you in the event that:

  • Any of our Third Party Service Providers cease to provide services;
  • Any of our Third Party Service Providers terminate their relationship with Unbound;
  • Any of the Services become commercially unviable; or
  • Unbound reasonably considers that any of the Services, including any Wearables and/or monitoring platforms, are no longer scientifically or medically suitable.

You are not entitled to any refund from Unbound for any Services that you have already paid for but that have not been delivered as of the Termination Date.

You can cancel your Membership at any time via your account settings. Your Contract and the Services we provide will terminate at the end of your current billing period, and you will continue to have access until that date.

You may cancel your Membership within 14 days of purchase (the Cooling-Off Period) by contacting support@unbound.living.

If no part of your Unbound Service has been booked or delivered, we will issue a full refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request.

If any part of the Service has already been booked or provided, for example, if a health assessment has taken place, we may deduct a reasonable amount reflecting the value of the Services supplied. In some cases, we may instead offer a partial refund or the opportunity to repeat a test free of charge.

After the Cooling-Off Period, membership fees are non-refundable. However, if Unbound (a) ends your Membership for reasons unrelated to your conduct, or (b) is unable to deliver Services for more than 30 consecutive days due to events beyond our control (Force Majeure), we may offer a pro-rata refund upon request.

Termination or expiry of the Contract shall not affect any rights, remedies, obligations and liabilities of the parties that have accrued up to the date of termination or expiry, including the right to claim damages in respect of any breach of the Contract that existed at or before the date of Termination or expiry.

Suspending the Services for medical reasons: In the unfortunate event that you are prevented by a serious injury or illness from continuing with the Services, for example where you are hospitalised, you may contact Unbound to request the suspension of the delivery of the Services until such time as you are able to resume your programme. The Term of your Contract will not continue to run until you notify Unbound that you wish to resume receiving the Services.

You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written permission.

If you breach these terms, we may require you to return or destroy any copies of Unbound content.

12

Data Privacy & Use

We collect and process health data in accordance with:

  • The UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR)
  • The UK Data Protection Act 2018
  • Other relevant local and international regulations (e.g., HIPAA where applicable)

We are committed to protecting your privacy and empowering your choices. You remain in control of your personal data.

You may opt in to allow us to anonymise and licence your data for external research purposes. You will be asked before your data is used in this way.

All data shared externally will be anonymised, aggregated, and never personally identifiable.

Data Collection and Processing

To provide you with your ‘whole-person’ Health Assessment, Health Report, and your Unbound App 90-day plan, Unbound collects and processes your personal ‘special category’ data. This includes your demographics, health information, and assessment results (blood biomarkers, physical performance data, mental wellbeing scores, and health habits).

We process this data strictly to provide actionable insights into your everyday health.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

Clinical Partners: We share your data with regulated providers (e.g., Tuli) to analyse your blood and provide you with health and wellness advice. This is a requirement of the service.

Your Doctor: If we detect results needing further medical investigation or treatment, we will share relevant information (such as your blood test results or questionnaire answers) with your GP to ensure safe, joined-up care. While you may opt-out in your settings, sharing this information is standard clinical practice supported by the NHS and GMC.

Quality Monitoring and Service Development: To monitor the quality and outcomes of our services, evaluate effectiveness, and develop new services and products for Unbound members we use de-identified aggregate datasets. Unbound combines your data (e.g. survey responses, blood biomarkers, performance measures, app activity) with other users' data so no individual can be identified. You can opt out of contributing your data to research for improving your Unbound membership anytime from your account settings.

Data Retention

You remain in control of your personal data. You may withdraw your consent or access your data at any time by contacting support@unbound.living.

We will retain your Health data for as long as necessary to comply with a contract we have with you, or to comply with our legal obligations; for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes, comply with insurance obligations and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

As an independent healthcare provider, we are required by law to retain health and medical records for prescribed periods. For medical records, this will typically be for a period of 8 years following the end of treatment, and where mental health care is provided, for 20 years following treatment.

For full details on how Unbound will collect, use, and share your health data, please read our Privacy Policy.

13

Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unbound disclaims all warranties related to:

  • The availability, accuracy, or completeness of the platform or its content
  • The clinical outcomes resulting from use of the Service
  • Any business losses, loss of revenue, or indirect/consequential damages

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

If you are dissatisfied with the platform or these Terms, your only remedy is to discontinue use.

Unbound will use its best efforts to provide Services to its Members within any timetable advised. If the provision of Services is delayed by an event outside the control of Unbound, then Unbound will contact you as soon as possible to inform you and will then take the necessary steps to minimise the effect of the delay.

Unbound will have no liability for any delay caused by events outside of its direct control.

Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for:

  • Personal injury (including death) caused by the negligent or wilful act or omission of either party, or their servants, their subcontractors or their agents; or
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Unbound assumes no responsibility for the use of the Services outside these Terms and Conditions. We also recommend that you read any terms and conditions provided by any of our Third Party Service Providers in conjunction with these Terms and Conditions. Unbound bears no responsibility for treatments provided by a third party, including a third party that has been recommended by us.

You acknowledge that Unbound's systems and the tests which form part of the Services, like any such systems and tests, are not perfect. The systems and tests used by Unbound are designed to be as accurate as possible, but inaccurate results can occur. Unbound assumes no liability for inaccurate results or reliance thereon, save where such results are the result of negligence by Unbound.

Unbound accepts no liability in relation to the Samples until they are acknowledged as received by the relevant Third Party Provider at the address specified.

Unbound assumes no liability for medical conditions that arise after the date of the Services (unless directly caused by the Services).

Unbound does not accept responsibility for loss or damage that can be traced back to inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you, whether during the term of the Contract or otherwise:

  • In relation to your medical history (including family medical history) or any other personal attribute related to the provision of the Services; or
  • To a question by an Unbound staff, the MDT or any other healthcare provider involved in your care, or on any consent form.

You accept all responsibility for the proper use of the Wearables. Unbound accepts no liability for your use of the Wearables, and we are not responsible for any manufacturing defect or malfunction, or for any misuse of such devices. You are advised to closely read and follow all of the manufacturer's instructions provided with any Wearables.

Unbound bears no responsibility for business losses. Unbound provides the Services for personal domestic use only. If you use the Services for any other purposes, including commercial or business purposes, Unbound will have no liability to you for any loss, including without limitation lost profit, loss of business, business interruption, and loss of business opportunity.

Unbound will only be responsible for loss and damage that is foreseeable, and which is caused by Unbound. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the Contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen, for example, if you discussed it with us during the pre-contractual process.

14

Force Majeure

Unbound shall not be in breach of this agreement nor liable for delay in performing, or failure to perform, any of its obligations under this agreement if such delay or failure result from events, circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control. Such events include, but are not limited to, health crises, pandemics, government restrictions, importation and exportation restrictions, strikes and other labour actions, war, conflict or civil unrest, and natural weather disasters.

In such circumstances Unbound shall be entitled to a reasonable extension for the time for performing such obligations. If the period of delay or non-performance continues for three (3) months, either party may terminate the Contract by giving thirty (30) days' written notice.

15

Entire Agreement

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Client and Unbound and supersedes and extinguishes all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations and understandings between them, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter.

16

Third Party Rights

The Contract does not give rise to any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of the Contract.

17

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

You and Unbound agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. If you are a resident of Northern Ireland or Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
